I had seen a posting in CL on a car that looks real great. The only thing is they said it still runs but the 1,2nd gear is shot. I'm a female, but I do know about cars. The only thing is I want to know How much is it to fix that problem cheap and the most expensive. And I don't need any SCAM mechanic's answer because I'm not stupid either. I know about all that. Thank You.|||I will give you a idea on what you can do. If the transmission can be repair it will be about as much as a used transee. You hap to know what type transmission it is. You may locate one in a junkyard. A new one will cost several thousand dollars. You can call around to transmission shop. They can give you a ball park number. They will not know if it can be repaired if they can repair it. Till take it out and open it up. They know where they can find a use one. If there is one around.|||I don't know were you are from but here in the states they stopped importing Daewoo. The answer you are looking for can't really be given.Transmissions typically are expensive to repair. So much so that on this car it probably isn't worth it.
If it were a Camry or Accord yes a Daewoo no.
