Does anybody know how to disconnect the ABS light on a Daewoo Nubira 97?, to be able to pass the MOT.
Thanks in Advance.|||There used to be a Daewoo dealer in the Enterprise Park (about quarter of a mile further down the road from the Royal Mail sorting office) but I'm not sure if it's still there.
To be honest I don't think disconnecting the light will allow you to pass the test. When a car with ABS is MOT'd the MOT Computer Database tells the tester the sequence of operation that the light on your model should follow (for example I drive an MR2 and the sequence for it is the light will illuminate for 1 second after the ignition is switched on then will go off). If it doesn't follow its correct sequence or doesn't show at all then it could be failed.|||You need to have the fault repaired.
Daewoo vehicles have been rebranded Chevrolet in most markets, including the UK.
You can find your nearest dealer at http://www.dealer-network.chevroleteurop鈥?/a>
However any competent garage should be able to diagnose and repair the fault.|||Right, the light is ONLY telling you there might be something wrong with something unimportant, like your brakes. lol lol
