Are Daewoo cars the worst cars ever made?

Most of their models get a 1 out of 10 rating on Consumer Reports, JD Power gives them the lowest score possible, and from personal experience, they are absolutely horrible cars in terms of reliability.





Are Daewoo cars some of the worst ever made? Second, why so bad?|||i don麓t think they are so bad, considering they are very cheap cars is what you get for that price.|||yes, they are the worst cars ever made....please run from them...only thing that was worse was a yugo and they didnt last either..buy something that has value and will be able to get worked on...i really thing there are no places that even sell parts for this kinda car anymore, if so you are gonna spend months jus getting the parts to fix your problem|||2nd to a Yogo ..........maybe|||The Yugo makes the Daewoo look like a Mercedes by comparison.|||No, Ford is the worst car ever made, but Daewoo are a very close second. Daewoo is to Asian auto manufacturers what Ford is to American-made cars.|||i don,t think so ,because thiese car got many in my country.so maybe it,s cheaper price.|||my friends dad has 1 and he loves it|||daewoo and yugo!|||Daewoo's were notoriously bad vehicles while they were on our shores for awhile. Then GM bought their manufacturing plants, and the name, but stranded the dealers in it's contracts. So Daewoo dealers were suing GM because of what, when GM made the deal off-shore, NOT here.





But if currently you own one, and need parts, please visit Suzuki. Because to appease dealers, GM owns a minority stake in Suzuki (I believe 13%), and made some Daewoo models, into Suzukis. I believe only really the XL7, is that shares the most vehicle that is more GM (Torrent, Equinox), but the rest are rebadged and redesigned Daewoo's.





Ironically I read just 2 months ago, this article in the Detroit News, about someone who made alot of research and was trying to avoid vehicles made in the U.S., or owned by U.S. manufacturer. Then a picture of him standing in front of his XL7 and Acura TL with a big grin on his face.





Yeah he has it all going on alright, a glorified Accord, and a GM clone. He's an educated shopper alright...LOL|||no its not, if you have evr watched vroom vroom, the princess goes 10mph! and a princess in a country beat it by miles , by walking!
