What does the yellow light shaped like an engine mean on a daewoo nexia car?

it is not the oil or ignition light, could it be gearbox?

or computer fault?|||got it on a vauxhall corsa. it is an engine management light but nobody knows whats up with it. we find also it works better when its on lol|||It's the check engine light. You need to take it for service so it can be hooked up to a computer that can read the code. It could be something very minor or something bigger. As long as it's not flashing at you, it's probably nothing too big. Before you take it to the dealer, you may want to check your gas cap to make sure it is on tight. Take it all the way off and put it back on. If the gas cap is not on tight enough, it will break the vacuum and cause your check engine light to come on.|||it could be many things, the computer monitors the engine systems through sensors and although at a garage they can hook up to a computer which actually says what the fault is, all you get is an annoying warning light which basically is saying spend money on me. still l heard say that RAC vans are now fitted out with the diagnostic kit, so if you are a member.or you have a friend who is well that is a cheaper option.|||ECU (engine management) light I believe. You need to get the car hooked up to a fault code reader at a garage and it will say what the problem is that's causing the light to come on. Quite likely just a faulty sensor or something by the way.||| there is a problem with your engine.... Take it to a repair shop... they can hook it up to the computer and read what the problem is and repair it....

|||I think you will find it is the engine management system it will need taking too a garage and plugging into there computer too diagnose the fault|||It is the service engine soon light. Not to worry, it seems they come on on every Deawoo sooner or later. Not the best engine design. |||Do not worry about light as my daewoo lanos light is also on does not affect car in any way i still have full power and everthing still works.|||It monitors the engine management system and if it comes on while you are driving you need to take it to a dealer.|||it,s probably a light to remind you it,s time for a tune-up.
