What could cause a 2001 daewoo lanos to smoke from the tail pipe?

It doesn't appear to be a head gasket. are there common problems that they have?|||Does it smoke constantly? May be burning oil, that could be a lot of things from a bad pcv valve to worn rings. Could also be coolant leaking into the cylinders, bad head gasket, bad intake manifold gasket, etc

Does it a puff a cloud of smoke when starting? That would probably be worn valve guide seals.

Did you have a compression test done to eliminate the possibility of a bad head gasket? It could point you in the right direction.
