2001 daewoo lanos sport idles rough and seems hungry for fuel and is stalling while in park. Any suggestions?

It has already been to 3 mechanics that cannot resolve my issue. The MAF sensor has been replaced and computer tests run all checked out ok.|||get a real car|||clean the throttle body

I'm no Daewoo expert, but I am mechanic (for 55 plus years). Here is what I would be looking for........ Vacuum leaks, - too much air entering intake system would make engine run lean and rough, possibly dying!-- (Air entering into induction system after the throttle body increases airflow, but not fuel flow!)! I would also check compression to see that the engine was not weak, because of low compression, - due to valves needing adjustment, - or burnt valves! It is possible that "wear" has allowed the valves to become too tight (as valves work,- they keep working upward- from wear on seats and valves). This is compensated for pretty well on hydraulic valve lifters,- but adjustable valve lifters,- (like lots of overhead camshaft engines use) need adjusting occasionally) Then there is ignition you could have plugs that are badly worn, or have wrong gaps on them! Or even "carbon tracks inside distributer that allow spark to go where it isn't supposed to go,- or partially grounding out on a plug or two (check ignition wires to plugs too)!

All these things,-except vaccuum leaks- (which should be noticed if they are very big anyway) are things checked on a "general tuneup"! And since it is computerized, it needs a computer anylisis, - (not a "guess" search).

I don't care what kind of car the engine is in, engines work on the same principle, and are pretty much diagnosed the same, differences are in design, and parts, - so being "different" is no excuse for not checking out properly! Yes some have "weak spots in one area or another, and yes some break down a whole lot more than others! but "cute remarks" like the ones you are getting are pretty much showing the intelligence of the writers! If you are looking for humour, go buy a Jacob Smiernoff tape, or Gottfreid tape, - you don't need it when you are trrying to get your car to run right!
