How long does a daewoo lanos engine can last without Major repairs?

I have a second hand daewoo lanos, with a very good condition, i always do scheduled services at the correct time?|||TIMING BELT EVERY 40K MILES! It is $200 in parts through eBay. The belt itself is not expensive, but you may as well replace the tensioners and pullies at the same time and the water pump too. Your car has an "interference" motor, which means if the cam shafts stop, the pistons will hit the valves...

To summarize, a broken timing belt is a broken motor.

Daewoo went out of business in the US, and is no longer a car company, so you are on your own. Parts stores carry hardly any parts for it. Get parts over the Internet. Other than that, it is a great car.

In fact they still use that 1.6 liter engine in the new Chevy Aveo.

I recommend going to http://www.daewootech.com/forum/|||about 3 years for example my opinon is cars motor that need the major repair the fastest is ford at about 2 years while toyota at about 4 years until major work is needed|||150,000 - 200,000 miles
